EAST GREENWICH – Arpin Group Inc. today announced the opening of an Arpin International Group office in the Toronto area that is the company’s first in Canada and its third outside the United States.
“In concert with our international operations in the United Kingdom and Singapore, the addition of an office in Canada,” in the Ontario community of Whitby, “will enable us to provide better and faster worldwide service to our customers,” Bob Sullivan, senior vice president of the Arpin Group, said in a statement today.
The opening of the new office follows the signing of an interline agreement between Arpin and Great Canadian Van Lines that will help both companies by reducing their costs while increasing their cross-border service range and capacity. The alliance also allows the two carriers to share each other’s shipping lanes, enhancing their operational flexibility and reducing transit times for customers.
Arpin Canada will serve as a customer-service center for domestic moves within Canada, as well as cross-border and other international moves, the parent company said. Its Whitby office – like the Arpin UK office in London and the Arpin Asia office in Singapore – also will become a “move management hub,” collaborating with Arpin’s U.S. offices and partners to assist domestic and international clients wishing to relocate workers to or within Canada.
Arpin Group Inc. is the holding company for Arpin Van Lines, Arpin International Group, Arpin Moving Systems (Canada), Star Moving Network and Intermodal Credit Corp. It has been owned and operated by the Arpin family since its founding more than a century ago. To learn more, visit www.Arpin.com or www.ArpinIntl.com.
