WARWICK, R.I. – May 4th, 2008 – Atrion Networking Corp. will announce the recipient of a $35,000 “Unplug and Win” wireless makeover during Tech Collective’s June 10th All Aboard networking event.
The Unplug and Win contest, co-sponsored by Atrion and Cisco Systems, will provide the winner with $35,000 in wireless network products and services.

Companies in all industries across New England have been entering the contest by submitting an essay of 500 words or less saying how they will benefit from wireless technology. With increased mobility, anywhere-anytime access and instant connectivity between partners, employees and clients, it is easy to see the business benefits of wireless.
“Unplug and Win will increase the productivity and growth of any company that receives it,” stated Atrion Communications Specialist Giselle LaFrance. “Additionally, working with Tech Collective and their All Aboard event is a vibrant opportunity to combine hard-skills, technical networking with soft skills, social networking. Despite traditional, polarized misconceptions, the two aspects really do go hand in hand; and as a client-focused service provider, we strive to develop them.”
“Networking is the buzz of the industry right now, and as the technology conduit between business, government and education, Tech Collective is proud to provide a forum to foster it,” added Tech Collective Director Kathie Shields. “Tech Collective is also pleased to once again be partnering with Atrion Networking, as both of our organizations work to innovate, engage and create awareness around Rhode Island’s dynamic – and essential – technology industries.”
Tech Collective’s “All Aboard: Use Networking to Navigate Through a Sea of R.I. Tech Companies” event also aims to more closely connect Rhode Island’s technology industries – including the IT, Biotech, Life Sciences and affiliated sectors – through networking, creativity and awareness.
Tech Collective is Rhode Island’s technology industries association, and All Aboard will be a unique showcase of the amazing innovations those industry companies are achieving.
