MIDDLETOWN – The Atlantic Resort was the location for the Southeastern New England Defense Industry Alliance December Tech Talk. The event included an expert panel on the tools and applications of augmented, virtual and mixed reality technology, according to a news release.
The panel’s leader was Siu-Li Khoe, a founder and executive director of Rhode Island Virtual Reality.

Tech applications – such as establishing virtual classrooms for trainings and providing immersive experiences to sell products – were discussed, as well as definitions of the various types of virtual environments.
