Shawmut Design and Construction tops off Brown University’s new Nelson Fitness Center with the original, historic cupola on Oct. 20. The cupola, which dates to 1927, previously sat atop the old Marvel Gym. The cupola was salvaged from the gym before it was demolished in 2002 and was put into storage. Shawmut restored the cupola.
