PROVIDENCE – BankFive and the SouthCoast Community Foundation are partnering on a new, $1.2 million college scholarship fund, according to a news release.
The President’s Scholarship Fund, created in honor of past bank CEOs and presidents, will help students from Bristol County, Mass., and Rhode Island’s Bristol and Newport counties pay for college with a four-year scholarship.
Students must be enrolled full time in an accredited college or university to be eligible.
Applications open Jan. 9 and must be submitted by March 1. For more information, or to apply, visit southcoastcf.org/scholarships.
