
BARRINGTON – A custom house in Barrington sold recently for $3.85 million, the largest sale in the town in more than three years.
The house, at 2 Hoffman Lane, includes unobstructed water views and 6,000 square feet of interior living space, according to a news release provided by Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, which had agents representing both buyer and seller.

The house was built by Dave Butera, of Barrington-based Butera Builders.
The sellers were represented by Beth Davis, a sales associate, of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers were represented by David Coleman, sales associate, also of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s.
