BARRINGTON- The waterfront property located at 280 Rumstick Rd. in Barrington has sold for $2,300,000, the second highest sale in the municipality this year.
The home features three separate parcels, totaling 5.8 acres, that include a four-bedroom, four-bathroom 1935 Colonial on a half-acre, a three-bedroom guest house on an acre, and a four and one third acre buildable waterfront lot. It also includes a 110 foot licensed dock with a storage shed and boat ramp.
The home’s sellers were represented by David Coleman, sales associate with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, while the buyers were represented by Midge Berkery, also with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Spanning nearly six acres on Smith’s Cove, this waterfront property offers highly sought-after Rumstick living,” David said.
“The property also includes a buildable waterfront lot: a truly rare find in Barrington,” Midge said.
