SWANSEA – BayCoast Bank is hosting two free workshops on Wednesday to provide the public with information on how to reduce college debt, featuring industry expert Shelley Honeycutt.
Titled “Gain Control of Your College Debt,” the two interactive workshops are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. and from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Law School at 333 Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth.
The workshops are designed to show participants how to take charge of college debt, whether someone has average college debt or “jumbo” college debt, the Swansea-based bank said. Participants will take part in several interactive exercises and discussions to identify their best path forward as a consumer. Particular attention will be given to find a customized solution that fits the needs of each participant.
The workshops are part of the new BayCoast Wealth and Wellness Series, leading up to the daylong BayCoast Wealth and Wellness Summit on Sept. 13.
