SWANSEA – BayCoast Bank plans to host a Wealth and Wellness Summit meeting, an all-day event on Sept. 13 in New Bedford, focusing on financial wellness matters and featuring a lineup of expert speakers.
The event will be held from from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Bedford Whaling Museum at 18 Johnny Cake Hill in New Bedford. It will have a focus on gender issues in the marketplace and resources for women in business leadership positions, the Swansea-based bank said.

The guest speakers – current and former business leaders – will discuss topics aimed at inspiring and educating entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, and women in general, the bank said.
Admission is $100 per person, with all proceeds to benefit early-education programs in New Bedford and Fall River. A continental breakfast, a seated lunch and afternoon snacks will be included.
