PROVIDENCE – Clay Shirky, author of “Here Comes Everybody: The Power of Organizing Without Organizations,” and Jason Fried, founder and CEO of the Web app company 37signals, will be among the headliners at the Business Innovation Factory’s BIF-4 Summit in October.
The two-day event seeks to connect innovators across industries and disciplines. Speakers receive 15 minutes to share a personal story about how he or she took a particular idea from concept to reality.
The BIF-4 Summit will be held Oct. 15-16 at Trinity Repertory Company in downtown Providence. The event will be hosted by BusinessWeek assistant managing editor Bruce Nussbaum and “Mavericks at Work” author Bill Taylor. •
