PROVIDENCE – Big Picture Learning, which provides college students with entrepreneurial and work force skills, has received a $25,000 grant from a private foundation created by Framingham, Mass.-based Staples Inc.
Funding from the Staples Foundation for Learning will support College Unbound, a program that ensures college students gain the skills and knowledge needed to achieve career and life success.
“This Staples Foundation for Learning grant allows students to participate in real world-based projects that develop their communication skills, ethics, creative thinking and problem solving abilities,” said Dennis Littky, co-director of Big Picture Learning, the parent organization to the Met Center, the state-funded high school. •
