NEW SHOREHAM – A contemporary home on nearly 8 acres on Corn Neck Road has sold for $2.4 million, $250,000 more than the list price.
The sale, announced this week, represents the significance placed by buyers on location, land conservation and one-of-a-kind views, said Rosemary Tobin, manager of the Block Island offices for Lila Delman Real Estate, which represented the sellers.
The house at 1181 Corn Neck Road is within walking distance of Mansion Beach, West Beach and Bean Point. It covers 4,384 square feet in a one-level design and has five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a detached two-bay garage with an overhead guest suite.
The property has a deeded right-of-way to the beach and adjoins 20 acres of conservation land.
