Bank of America recently honored three of the company’s associates – Tina Peck, Timothy Dean and Keith Jacobson – for their commitment to improving local communities. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence was honored as Bank of America’s Nonprofit Partner of the Year.
Those honored are all members of Team Bank of America, an organization of associates and retirees who volunteer their time to help local nonprofit organizations.
Peck serves as secretary and recognition manager for Team Bank of America, and is responsible for managing global communication, quarterly spirit recognition, and also leads the year-end event committee. Timothy Dean, vice president and technical project team manager, was recognized for volunteering on his own, logging 560 volunteer hours in 2007 with various organizations, including the Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Keith Jacobson, senior vice president/senior finance manager, leads one of the most active volunteer sites in the Rhode Island market. His 155-member team has volunteered with numerous nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Light the Night, Relay for Life, March of Dimes WalkAmerica and Special Olympics Rhode Island. •
