When we recruit employees, we look for a quality I like to call “T2” (with the T for talent). We hire people with deep expertise for the business, but we also look for an ability to engage passionately in other aspects of their lives, whether it’s spending their spare time deep-sea fishing, working to protect the environment or performing as a musician. Over the years, we’ve learned that people with deep interests in the world bring that passion to everything they do. They think creatively, learn quickly and respond empathically when our customers call us.
