Dennis W. Moore
Dennis W. Moore, regional director of corporate and community affairs for Bank- Boston, has been elected to the board of directors of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island. Moore, a Pawtucket native and current Cranston resident, has strategic leadership responsibility for BankBoston. In recent years he has spearheaded the bank’s sponsorship of “Get The Drift And Bag It” – an annual shoreline cleanup that the Audubon Society of Rhode Island originated 14 years ago. Moore is a graduate of Bryant College and the Defense Information School in Indianapolis, Ind. He served as news director of Armed Forces Radio and Television in Latin America for two years. He is also the former news director of WLKW AM/FM radio station in Providence.

John D. Wait
John D. Wait has been named vice president of operations for Lee Engineering. He will be responsible for the Union Dominion company’s Paw-tucket operations, including manufacturing, engineering, materials and quality assurance. He joins Lee from U.S. Repeating Arms of New Haven, where he was vice president of manufacturing. Prior to that he was plant manager at the company’s Hingham, Mass. facility. He is a graduate of Moravian College in Pennsylvania.

Barbara Miller Perry
Barbara Miller Perry has joined Rhode Island Quality Partners as chief operating officer and is responsible for management of health care quality improvement projects, external relations and business development. She has more than 20 years of health care experience, including extensive management experience in operations. Previously she was an assistant administrator for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates of Massachusetts. Perry has a bach-elor’s degree in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences and a master’s degree in public health from the Boston University School of Medicine.
Sajid R. Chaudhary, MD
Sajid R. Chaudhary, MD has been granted medical staff privileges by the Southcoast Health System at its St. Luke’s site in New Bedford. Dr. Chaudhary earned his medical degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore in Pakistan. He also completed residency programs in Pakistan in internal medicine, general surgery and diagnostic radiology. In addition, he completed residencies in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University in New York, and at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, affiliated with Brown University in Providence. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Chaudhary is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Rhode Island Medical Society and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Sally S. O’Neel
Sally S. O’Neel has been selected for LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc.’s Guiding Principal Award. The vice president and branch manager for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Co., she is among the first employees in the LandAmerica family of companies to receive the newly created award. O’Neel joined Commonwealth in 1972 when she was hired to update and modernize the procedures and equipment in the Rhode Island Division. In 1989, she was promoted from agency manager in Providence to her current position. She previously served as manager of the policy department at Burton Abstract and title in Ann Arbor, Mich.
MACHINERY
American Tool Company of Lincoln has promoted Cumberland resident Stephanie Staples to general manager. With the company since 1995, she was formerly at Blackstone Valley Baptist Academy. Phillip McCally was also promoted. The Plainville, Mass. resident who was most recently a production manager, is now general plant manager. Jeffrey Goldberg has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. The West Warwick resident has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience with various companies throughout New England.

Tony Stall
Tony Stall has been named national sales manager for Dryvit Systems, Inc. He will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities for the company in the United States. Stall, formerly Dryvit’s commercial marketing manager, will continue to be based at Dryvit’s headquarters in West Warwick. Prior to joining the company he was national sales manager at Senergy, Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Williams College; is chair for the marketing committee of the EIFS Industry Manufacturers Association; and is a member of the Construction Specification Institute.

Neil Kiely
Neil Kiely has announced the creation of Marketing in Motion, a full-service sales and marketing consulting company, headquartered in Providence. The com-pany’s services include public relations, advertising, strategic planning, new product introductions and trade shows. A graduate of Brown University, Kiely previously held management positions with A.T. Cross and Summer Infant Products.

Harry J. Bishop
Harry J. Bishop has been appointed director of corporate services and assistant treasurer for ProvEnergy. He will be responsible for fleet, risk and facilities management, as well as environmental, real estate, purchasing and materials management. Bishop, who earned his master’s degree in business administration from Bryant College, has advanced to various positions within the organization during his career, most recently director of finance. A North Providence resident, he is a member of the New England Gas Association and a business consultant for Rhode Island Junior Achievement.

Donna M. Capoverde
Donna M. Capoverde, senior financial analyst for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation in Mash-antucket, Conn., has been named president of Literacy Volunteers of America-Rhode Island. A University of Rhode Island graduate, Capoverde began her association with the Literacy Volunteers in 1991 as a tutor. She also has a master’s degree in business administration from Bryant College.
