Victoria Birk has been hired as vice president of account services for RDW Group. Bringing 16 years of local, regional and national advertising and marketing experience to the firm, Birk will be responsible for strategic planning and supervision of several RDW accounts in the financial services, health care and non-profit arenas. Prior to joining RDW Birk was account group director/acting director of client services at Pagano Schenk & Kay in Boston. Before that she was vice president and group director at Leonard/Monahan in Providence. Birk earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan. She is a native of Ontario, Canada.

Carol J. D’Andrea
Carol J. D’Andrea has been named vice president of Citizens Services Group for Citizens Bank. Previously financial systems manager for Hills Department Stores in Canton, D’Andrea received a master’s degree in education from Cambridge College in Massachusetts.

 

Donald T. Heinhold
Donald T. Heinold has been promoted to sales and service manager at the BankBoston supermarket branch inside the Super Stop & Shop Supermarket in Providence. He is responsible for managing and supervising a team of nine. Prior to hi promotion, Heinold was an assistant manager at the Elmhurst branch and a sales and service associate at the Edgewood branch. Graduating from Barrington College with a degree in history, Heinold lives in Lincoln with his wife, Susan and one child.

 

 

EDUCATION

Michael Moretti
Michael Moretti of North Kingstown has been awarded a $500 scholarship from the College Planning Center of Rhode Island. A senior at Bishop Hendricken High School, he is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Society. He is currently considering several universities to study computer science including University of Rhode Island, Brown University and Boston University. The CPCRI offered the scholarship as part of their grand opening celebration for its newest location in Woonsocket.

Norman G. Zinger
HEALTH CARE
Norman G. Zinger of Portsmouth has been named program director for The Center for Behavioral Medicine at Saint Anne’s Hospital. In his new role, Zinger oversees the management and day-to-day operations of the Center’s geropsychiatric partial hospital program, which provides short-term intensive treatment to people over the age of 55 who are experiencing psychiatric problems. These may include depression, anxiety, grief, thought disturbances, confusion, or memory problems. A graduate of American University, Zinger has also done graduate work in criminology and human development at the University of Maryland, where he earned a master’s degree in social work from West Virginia. He has managed and marketed psychiatric inpatient and outpatient services since 1984.

Jennifer DeLuca
Jennifer DeLuca of Cranston has been appointed director of public relations for Village Retirement Communities. She will be responsible for securing local media coverage as well as planning and implementing marketing events for the company’s Villages in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. A graduate of Boston University, she was previously special events coordinator for VRC.

 

 

 

Marc A. Cote
LEASING
Marc A. Cote of Woonsocket has affiliated with Lease One Corp. of Lynnfield, Mass., a business equipment leasing financing company with more than 125 independent offices nationwide. Cote’s Lease One office, located on Cumberland St. in Woonsocket, will assist businesses that are considering the flexibility and tax benefits that lease financing can provide when obtaining all types of needed business equipment, from heavy construction, medical and manufacturing equipment to telephone systems, office furniture, and restaurant equipment. Cote is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Babson College. He also serves as state senator for District 31, Woonsocket.

Michael J. Constantine
Michael J. Constantine of Warwick has been named director of business development at Gannon & Scott, Inc. He joined the Cranston company from Advanced Chemical, which is in Warwick. He has 22 years of experience in the precious metals and plating industries and he will be responsible for sales in new markets and products. Founded in 1919, Gannon & Scott refines and assays precious metals.

 

 

 

PRINTING
William Fullaway has joined New England Printing & Graphics Inc. as sales and marketing manager. With 19 years of experience in the printing industry, he spent the past six as sales manager with Automated Graphic Systems in Ohio. He holds a BS in printing management from Georgia Southern University. His goals include identifying new markets and meeting the challenging and unique needs of NEP&G’s client base.

SECURITY

William J. Gilbane, III
William J. Gilbane, III has been appointed manager of business development at Guardian Bastille. In his new position, the Barrington resident will coordinate the recruitment of national accounts for Guardian Bastille, targeting Fortune 500 companies, large government institutions and international corporations. Prior to joining the 3M Scotchshield Security Window Film and CEIA access control systems installation company he was with the Gilbane Building Company. Gilbane is a graduate of Brown University.
