David P. Dupere
David P. Dupere of Smithfield was recently elected chairman of the board of directors of the Rhode Island Credit Union League. The president and CEO of Warwick Municipal Employees Credit Union, Dupere was initially elected to the board in 1991. He is a graduate of Bryant College and the Credit Union National Association Management School. Dupere is also a director and has served as the vice chairman and merge task force chairman of the National Association of State Chartered Credit Unions.

Jay Strauss
Jay Strauss has been appointed as a business development associate of Marshall Consultants, Inc. He has a long history in the construction industry, serving as president of Eagle Cornice Company, Inc. until its sale in 1997. Since that time he has worked as an independent consultant for ASC Industries, Arthur Watson Agency, and New England Construction. Strauss will work with Marshall President Bob Marshall, providing marketing and business development skills to a variety of subcontractors in the Southeastern New England region.
Ann M. Corey
Ann M. Corey of North Attleboro, Mass., has been named new business consultant at The Angell Pension Group, Inc., in Rumford. In this new position she will be responsible for the development and marketing of new business. She attended Assumption College in Worcester, Mass., and Bryant College. Prior to coming to Angell, she was vice president of Benefit management, Inc., in Providence. She was also a pension consultant and principal with employee benefits consulting firm Simmons & Associates for 14 years.

Analee Wulfkuhle
Analee Wulf-kuhle has been named president and CEO of Hospice Care of Rhode Island, the nation’s third oldest hospice program and one of New England’s largest. Wulfkuhle comes to Rhode Island after seven years as president and CEO of Old Colony Hospice in Stoughton, Mass. The first person to become a certified home and hospice care executive, Wulfkuhle, has an MBA from Simmons College.
Cristiana Delossantos
Cristiana Delossantos has been named this year’s recipient of the $1,000 Clare Sullivan Memorial Nurse Leadership Scholarship and Progresso Latino’s Health Award. A master’s candidate in University of Rhode Island’s College of Nursing, Delossantos was awarded the Robin Gaines Memorial Scholarship from the New England Regional Black Nurses Association last spring. In addition to her studies, she holds down a full-time job on the Providence Family Van, operated by Women & Infants Hospital. In that role she provides health screenings, education, and referrals for the community. A registered nurse since 1994, Delossantos is pursuing psychiatric nursing because she sees a need in the Hispanic community for such services.

Calvin Field
Calvin Field, a resident of Pawtucket, has joined the professional staff of the Providence agency of MassMutual as the new technology specialist. He will be responsible for all of the computer systems in the agency.
LAW
Stephen M. Leonard, Esq., has joined the Brown, Rudnick, Freed & Gesmer’s real estate practice group. He was formerly a partner at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, P.C. Prior to that, he was chief of the Environmental Protection Division in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, a position he held for seven years. While he was with the Attorney General’s office Leonard handled the lawsuits against the federal government and the oil industry that prevented offshore drilling in the Georges Bank fishing grounds. The San Francisco native received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his JD from Harvard Law School. He serves on the board of the Environmental League of Massachusetts and is the Massachusetts delegate to the National Wildlife Federation. He and his wife, Deborah Waber, have two children.

Jennifer Culpepper, a Jamestown resident, has joined Providence-based Trainor Associates as an account coordinator. She provides administrative support to the marketing communications firm’s account service teams. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Culpepper brings seven years experience in the health services field to Trainor, including assignments with Pawtucket Memorial Hospital and North American Family Institutes of Warren. Most recently, she was a case manager for Children’s Friend and Service of Providence.
