Robert Correira
Robert Correira has joined New England Construction as a senior architect. He will oversee project design and development as well as direct daily operations of the design division. Correira is a graduate of the Boston Architectural Center. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and holds architectural registrations in several states. He was an associate with Owen F. Hackett Associates Architects in New Bedford, for 16 years and Martin Blumberg Architects in Atlantic City, N.J. for three years. Correira’s experience includes 15 years in Atlantic City as construction manager-quality control administrator during construction of various casinos and for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.

Karen Lindsay
Karen Lindsay has been hired as communications director for Prov-idence’s Philip Wolfe Fine Men’s Apparel. In addition to communications director, she will also head Philip Wolfe’s casual seminar program, coordinate fashion shows and develop an in-office sales program. Lindsay is a student at the University of Rhode Island and is majoring in textiles, fashion merchandising and design with a minor in communications. Among many charitable accomplishments, Lindsay is also the current Miss Rhode Island. Prior to her employment at Philip Wolfe, she worked for Southwest Airlines as a customer service representative.
Nancy Hoogasian
FUND RAISING
Nancy Hoogasian of Narra-gansett is the new director of the Rhode Island College Annual Fund. A 1972 graduate of URI, she has had fourteen years of fund- raising experience for such organizations as the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the YWCA of Greater Rhode Island. She is a board member of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. She will also be responsible for the continuing development of the RIC major donor component of the Annual Fund which, in the past five years, has broken records at RIC.

Anne E. Neuville
Anne E. Neuville, a registered family nurse practitioner, has joined the staff of Family Physicians of Tiverton and Little Compton. A University of Rhode Island graduate, she most recently worked as a registered nurse at the Miriam Hospital. Six of her ten years there were spent in the critical care unit. Neuville will provide a broad range of health care services to patients of all ages with an emphasis on health promotion, education and disease prevention. Her responsibilities include performing physical assessments, ordering appropriate tests, procedures and medications, as well as coordinating consultations and referrals.
Marie K. Koppa
Marie K. Koppa has been appointed vice president of marketing, fund development and government relations of Memorial Hospital and Primary Care Centers of New England. She will oversee the hospital’s public relations, marketing and fund development functions. In addition, she will manage operations, physician and practice development for the Primary Care Center of the East Bay, the Primary Care Center of the Attleboros, Women’s Health Care Specialists and Boulevard Family Practice. Kappa is former vice president at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N. J.

Donna Therrien
Donna Therrien has joined the staff of the Providence agency Mass-Mutual as the brokerage marketing director. She has numerous years in the marketing field as well as the insurance agency and was previously affiliated with Travelers. She is a resident of Coventry.
Caroline M. Gilroy-Brown
LAW
Caroline M. Gilroy-Brown, a partner of Partridge, Snow & Hahn, has been named a director of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association for the 1999-2000 term. Gilroy-Brown manages the firm’s mortgage banking and consumer finance practice. She regularly advises banks and non-bank financial services firms with respect to consumer finance regulatory compliance matters and defensive litigation.
Raynond A. Pacia
Raymond A. Pacia of North Providence has been elected president of the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association for the 1999-200 term. Pacia received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Suffolk University School of Law, and he graduated magna cum laude from Boston University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Pacia is a member of the law firm Pacia & Pacia, Ltd., of Pawtucket. He serves as a commissioner to the National Conference of Commissioners on uniform state laws and he is a past president of the Justinian Law Society. An arbitrator to the Rhode Island Superior Court Arbitration Program, he is a fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation.
Maura P. Brodeur
MEDIA
Maura P. Brodeur of Warwick was recently appointed senior sales director of operations within the advertising department of The Providence Journal Company. Previously she had been senior sales director, classification sales manager, assistant classified advertising manager and acting classified manager. Brodeur will have the direct responsibility for the coordination of sales activities related to the advertising sales strategies. The Warwick resident serves on the board of directors for the New England Classified Advertising Managers Association and is the second vice president on the board of directors for the Newspaper Association of America.
