Jeffrey Girard has joined Process Construction Management of East Greenwich as project manager. He was previously employed as solid waste coordinator and landfill supervisor for the municipality of North Attleboro, Mass. and divisional engineering manager at the R.I. Resource Recovery Corporation in Johnston. Girard earned bachelor’s degrees in industrial management engineering and architectural engineering from Roger Williams College. He is resides in Cranston, where he served as chairman of the Cranston Special Education Parent Advisory Board.

Matthew J. McHenry has been appointed Sales Manager for Equity Title and Closing Services, Inc. of East Providence. He will be responsible for overseeing business development and managing the sales team. He was previously employed at Local Financial Services, Inc. of Newport, where he provided consulting services for second mortgages, credit life insurance, general business and lobbying. McHenry graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania, and resides in Newport.

Patricia Ryan Recupero
Patricia Ryan Recupero, JD, MD has received the 2000 Annual Exemplary Psychiatrist Award presented by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. The award is given to outstanding psychiatrists who are selected for their substantial contributions in clinical care, public education and advocacy efforts. An attorney and psychiatrist, Recupero is president and chief executive officer of Butler Hospital in Providence, executive vice president for behavioral health at the Care New England health system and a clinical associate professor of psychiatry at Brown University. She is a member of the Governor’s Council on Mental Health and a fellow in the American Psychiatric Association.
Daniel J. Kane
Daniel J. Kane, DMD has been appointed director of the Pediatric Dental Center at St. Joseph Hospital for Specialty Care in Providence. His responsibilities include the clinical operations of the program as well as quality assurance and professional development issues. He previously served as chief of dentistry at Wood River Health Services in Hope Valley and as pediatric dentist with the department of public health in Philadelphia and in private practice. A certified pediatric dentist, Kane is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Neal R. Pandozzi has joined Tillinghast Licht Perkins Smith & Cohen, LLP as an associate in the public finance group. He will work with the senior attorneys in the group with regard to general obligation and revenue bond transactions including state law issues. A graduate of Providence College, Pandozzi earned his juris doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Roger Williams University Law Review. He has served as a research assistant for the Associate Dean of Roger Williams University School of Law and in the legal department of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and a resident of North Providence.

Kelley A. Nickson has joined Moses & Alfonso, Ltd. or Providence as an associate. She will practice in civil litigation and probate law. Nickson graduated from Rhode Island College and received her juris doctorate from Suffolk University Law Sc-hool in Boston, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as director of the Tom C. Clark Appellate Competition. She served as a law clerk to the Rhode Island Office of Public Defender and has practiced with Pierce & Mandell, PC in Boston. She resides in Lincoln.
John M. Roney
John M. Roney has been elected secretary of the Rhode Island Bar Association. Roney is a partner of the Providence law firm of Roney & Labinger and a member of the Rhode Island State Senate representing Providence’s East Side and Fox Point neighborhoods. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Providence College and a juris doctorate from Catholic University in the District of Columbia. He is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Virginia and the District of Columbia. In the Senate, he is deputy majority leader, chair of the Joint Committee on Highway Safety, and vice chair of the Judiciary Committee. He is a member and former president of the Rhode Island Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependence.

Andrea B. Joseph has joined the Meeting Street Center as director of development. She will be responsible for the agency’s fund-raising activities. A Certified Fund Raising Executive, she was previously employed as director of institutional advancement at Providence Country Day School. Joseph is the president of the Rhode Island chapter of the Planned Giving Association and a founding member of the steering committee of Giving Rhode Island. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and resides in Smithfield with her husband and two sons.
