Jennifer Toone
Jennifer Toone has been named vice president at Chaffee & Partners in Providence. In addition to handling a group of agency accounts, she will be responsible for new business efforts. Toone was previously employed at Berkley Advertising in Framingham, Mass., where she developed extensive communications programs for a range of clients from the industrial, business-to-business and consumer markets. She is a graduate and member of the Gold Key Honor Society of Emerson College in Boston, Mass. and a resident of the East Side of Providence.

Steven L. Albee
Steven L. Albee has been named vice president/electronic banking for Citizens Bank. He was previously employed at BankBoston in Waltham, Mass. as senior product manager. Albee received a bachelor’s in business administration in marketing from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and a master’s of science and management in international marketing from Boston University. He resides in Milford, Mass.

Terrh H. Addison
Terry H. Addison has been appointed dean of students at Johnson & Wales University. He has served as executive director of the Intown Providence YMCA for the past three years and was previously employed as director of multicultural student services at the University of Rhode Island and at Augsberg College and Macalester College, both in Minnesota. Addison received his doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota. He serves on the board of directors of several organizations, including Sojourner House and Dorcas Place. He is also a member of the trustee council of Leadership Rhode Island.

Nancy Piffard
Nancy Piffard has been appointed show director for The Newport Exhibition Group. She will be responsible for the overall management, sales and marketing of the Newport International Boat Show, The Fine Furnishings-Providence show and the Newport Used Boat Show. She has previously served as marketing/communications director at the Department of Labor and Training and senior account manager at Ocean State Business Magazine, both in Providence. Piffard is an active member of the International Association of Exposition Management, the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Marine Trade Association and the Chamber of Commerce for both Newport County and Providence. She is a resident of Newport and earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Rhode Island.

Paula Iacono
Paula Iacono has joined St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island as coordinator of annual giving and special projects. She will be responsible for managing hospital fund-raising activities including annual and memorial giving, capital fund gifts and special events and projects as well as assisting with public relations and marketing support for both Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital for Specialty Care. Iacono served most recently as director of alumni relations/annual fund at Johnson & Wales University and director of alumni relations and as director of alumni relations at Bryant College. She is a graduate of Bryant College and a member of the CASE District 1 Conference Executive Committee and the R.I.Heritage Hall of Fame Board of Directors.

Raymond Caron
Raymond Caron, CPCU, was elected president of the RI Chapter Society Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter at the chapter’s annual installation dinner. Caron is vice president of the Soucy Insurance Agency in Woonsocket and has been an independent insurance agent for 29 years. He has served on several boards and committees, and currently is a member of the Shelby/Vesta National Advisory Board and a representative for the Independent Insurance Agents of RI on Rhode Island’s Insurance Producer’s Continuing Education Committee. He resides with his wife Jeanne in Woonsocket.

John P. Montigny
John P. Montigny has joined Bacou USA, Inc. of Smithfield as vice president of marketing. He will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing marketing activities for all of the company’s subsidiaries and divisions, as well as helping in the development of creative branding and product strategies for long-term growth. Montigny most recently served as brand manager for Titleist within the Acushnet Golf Division of Fortune Brands. Previously, he held a series of international marketing positions at Bausch and Lomb, as well as sales and marketing positions with the General Electric Company. He received his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and master’s from Cornell University and the Katholieke Universiteit of Belgium. He resides in South Dartmouth, Mass.

Meredith Bonds
Meredith Bonds has been named program director of Tockwotton Home of Providence. She will be responsible for all activity and event programming for both Tockwotton’s assisted living center and nursing home residents, as well as developing and managing the volunteer program. Bonds was previously employed at Evergreen House Health Center of East Providence as assistant recreational director. She completed the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals basic education course at the Community College of Rhode Island and has applied for national certification as an activity director. She received her bachelor’s degree in studio art from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass. and is a resident of Providence.

Robin Morris McAlpine
Robin Morris McAlpine has been promoted to associate creative director at Ross-Simons of Cranston. She previously worked as art director for the company. She will be responsible for directing a new collaborative of jewelry and home art directors in refocusing product presentations and conceptual approaches. Prior to joining Ross-Simons, McAlpine was vice president of creative services for the Zayre Corporation and a designer for G. Fox department stores. She graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. and is a resident of Bristol.
