PROVIDENCE – At the 2018 AIDS Project Rhode Island Run/Walk for Life, Nick, Ron and Pete Cardi will be awarded the Hope Harris award, which recognizes persons or organizations exemplifying dedication to the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The Cardi brothers operate eponymous furniture and mattress retail outlets throughout Rhode Island and are longtime AIDS Project Rhode Island supporters.
In a joint statement, the three Cardi brothers said: “We are proud to have been a sponsor of AIDS Project Rhode Island from the beginning; 32 years goes by fast!”

The award is named after Hope Harris, a former AIDS Project Rhode Island board member. The 2018 iteration of the award will be presented to the Cardi brothers on April 21 during the AIDS Run/Walk for Life at Roger Williams Park.
