“Each and every piece of the puzzle is important,” Charles T. Francis, president and partner of CBRE-New England’s Rhode Island office, told Providence Business News yesterday. “And we feel that we contribute significantly to the regional effort. … Our office here continues to grow, as does the company.”
The Fortune 500 is an annual list of the highest-revenue American companies, ranked by total revenue. For 2006, CBRE posted net income of $318 million on total revenue of $4 billion – earning it a ranking of 520th on the 2007 Fortune 1000. The company had ranked 630th on the list the year before, and had been No. 676 on the 2005 list, Fortune said.
“I think it’s testimony to the platform and the growth that this business – and particularly, this company – has undergone in the last five years,” said Francis, at CBRE-NE in Providence. “It’s extraordinary.”
