What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? Retaining and attracting top talent in a competitive market. We work to ensure we have comprehensive offerings that meet our employees’ needs. We provide training and development programs to help them enhance and advance their skills, offer competitive compensation and well-being packages, and create an engaging culture of inclusivity, belonging and recognition.
What is the best advice you have ever received? Always be kind and authentic – you never know who you are talking to.
What was your first job? I was a receptionist at a small mom-and-pop hair salon.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Never say never.
What moment changed your life more than any other? Becoming a mom – it’s the best job ever, from my standpoint.
What was your last streaming or cable binge watch? “American Rust” on Prime. I’m not a huge binge watcher, but this drama caught my attention.
What is your preferred source for national news? Associated Press.
What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? As a business management major during my sophomore year of college, we had to declare either people operations or system operations. Systems and widgets did not sound appealing to me at the time. As a people person, I knew the route I had to go.
