Citizens’ Beth Johnson named to ‘most powerful women in banking’ list

PROVIDENCE – Beth Johnson, Citizens Financial Group Inc.’s chief experience officer and chief marketing officer, was named as one of the most powerful women in banking by American Banker.

The publication on Oct. 6 published its annual ranking of the 25 most powerful women in banking, including Johnson who was ranked at No. 20.

In its profile of Johnson, American Banker highlighted her role in the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts, as well as work on digital offerings such as a revamped mobile application and an analytics platform to send targeted messages to customers.

Johnson was also named to the list in 2020 and 2019.
