How has your company adapted programs and services in response to challenges such as workforce shortages and staff burnout? Staff members fill in for each other when there is a staff shortage due to absence or open position. The staff members who have to work “nontraditional” hours are encouraged to flex their schedules to avoid stress and burnout.

What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? It seems we are always celebrating something! Fridays are dress-down days. For a donation, we can dress down every Friday, and the donation goes to a different charity every month. We’ve been doing this for almost a year, and on average raise $350 a month.

What modifications have you made to your workplace to support employee wellness? Ensuring that staff members can take time out of their day to get fresh air, have a walking partner or someone to talk to in the breakroom has gone a long way to support our wellness efforts.
