WEST WARWICK – Cox Communications, with Rhode Island locations including Warwick, has added YouTube access for its “Contour” service-package customers, the company announced in a press release.
“We’re providing simple access to more live, On Demand and internet content in one place,” said Pat Esser, president of Cox Communications, in a statement. “More than 60 percent of Cox customers say they watch YouTube videos weekly, and now it’s even easier for them to enjoy watching … on the biggest screens in their homes.”
According to Cox, the voice-remote feature can be used by these customers to search and watch YouTube directly on their TV screens, as long as they are using the word “YouTube” in their vocal search command.
The Contour platform already offers Netflix and iHeartRadio apps, according to Cox.
