Crawford to attend Raymour & Flanigan opening

SEEKONK – Businesswoman and supermodel Cindy Crawford will be among the attractions at tomorrow’s 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. grand opening of Raymour & Flanigan Furniture at 100 Highland Ave. (Route 6).
The building previously was home to Alpert’s Furniture Showplace, which boasted of “four acres of furniture under one roof.” Now, it will be the only local store to carry the Cindy Crawford Home furniture line.
A free wine and hors d’oeurves reception from 4:30 to 9 p.m. will include the chance to meet Crawford, from 6 to 7 p.m., and view her new furniture line. Autographed photos will be available.
Crawford also will join Raymour & Flanigan President and CEO Neil Goldberg for a 2:30 p.m. news conference.
The day also will include a 4:30 p.m. decorating seminar with Stacy Kunstel, regional editor for Meredith magazines Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home, Country Home and Renovation Style, who will answer questions, help resolve design dilemmas and even help customers shop.
And every adult who visits the store that day will receive a free gift, courtesy of Oneida.com, and the chance to enter a drawing for a complete dining room set and other prizes.
