Cronin named new president of Providence Engineering Society

LINCOLN – Christopher Cronin, a senior associate at Beta Group Inc., is the newly selected president of the Providence Engineering Society.

The oldest professional engineering society in the U.S., the society is a social and networking organization.

Cronin is a graduate of Villanova University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. A consultant for 26 years, he has focused on environmental projects.

Beta Group, based in Lincoln, provides state and local agencies and private clients with planning, engineering, landscape architecture, design and construction services.
