‘Cuban Revolution’ celebrates people<br> unworthy of adulation

To the editor,
I recently read in update on an article which ran in your newspaper (“Cuban Revolution moves into a much bigger space,” Jan. 8), and to say the least it felt like being punched in the stomach. It is evident Mr. Ed Morabito either has no clue as to what the theme of his restaurant represents in the scheme of things, or he is a useful tool to the interest of the left wing of this country.
Let me remind Mr. Morabito that Mr. Fidel Castro holds the honor of leading the longest-running dictatorship in the Western Hemisphere. This is the same gentleman who has put more than 18,000 Cuban nationals to the firing squad to date, sent his troops to Africa and Latin America murdering thousands in his quest for communist supremacy, and many other human rights violations.
Mr. Morabito needs to research Che Guevara a little better and understand this “hero” is nothing but a thug who spent every waking moment thinking of ways to destroy the United States, while murdering thousands of innocents in Cuba and eventually being put to death while trying to overthrow the government of Bolivia.
I truly hope that someday Mr. Morabito and those who sponsor his train of thought have the opportunity to experience the communist dream and spend a lifetime uner the boot of a tyrant such as Fidel Castro. He could rename is restaurant “The American Revolution.”
