WOONSOCKET – CVS Health Corp. is the only Rhode Island-based company to earn top marks in the Disability Equality Index, a measure of recognition for efforts to be inclusive and supportive of employees with disabilities.

In prepared remarks CVS Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Lisa Bisaccia said the company is “proud to be recognized for our efforts.”

“At CVS Health, we are focused on breaking down the employment barriers that individuals with disabilities face. We believe our colleagues and customers, of all abilities, are what help our company and the communities we serve grow and thrive,” she added.

The DEI is produced by the American Association of People with Disabilities and the U.S. Business Leadership Network with the goal of measuring and producing a benchmark analysis using a company’s performance across organizational culture, leadership, accessibility, employment, community engagement, support services and supplier diversity.
