WOONSOCKET – The third annual Crave RI food festival will kick off the CVS Health Charity Classic Event Series on June 20 and 21 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in downtown Providence, the organization announced Tuesday.
The two-day festival will host more than 100 local restaurants and dozens of beer, wine and spirits makers, and it will feature live demonstration from local chefs.
Participants include The Aviary, Red Fin Crudo + Kitchen, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Narragansett Beer, Newport Vineyards and Sons of Liberty Spirits.
All proceeds from Crave RI and the Charity Classic Event Series support charitable organizations serving children and families across Southern New England.
“At the heart of the CVS Health Charity Classic is our mission to support the local community,” stated Eileen Howard Boone, the CVS Health Charity Classic golf tournament chairwoman. “Through Crave RI, we have a unique opportunity to accomplish this mission while bringing together members of the community and celebrating the flourishing food culture of Rhode Island with the community.”
