PROVIDENCE – The transformation of Providence Place continues.
CycleBar, a franchise of indoor cycling facilities, is opening a studio at Providence Place mall. It is expected to occupy a Francis Street location, taking a part of the Old Navy store footprint.
The CycleBar franchise has spread rapidly across the U.S. since its founding in 2014 but has only one other New England location, the original studio in Wellesley, Mass.
The privately held company is known for energetic cycling programs, a premier indoor sound system and providing concierge-like services. The company is hiring instructors this month. An opening date has not been announced.
