What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? The rising cost of presenting shows while keeping live events accessible. In my role, I work with our team to offer a diverse mix of programming, including educational events while ensuring a high-quality experience that adds value for our audiences. We also work with state legislatures to fight deceptive third-party ticket sellers and advocate for policies that help us stay competitive with surrounding states.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I want to continue pushing the boundaries of the arts and entertainment world in Rhode Island.
What was your first job? When I was in high school, I worked for my family’s pizzeria just outside of Detroit.
What moment changed your life more than any other? It was when my late stepfather, Mike, took me to see “Rent” on Broadway. It was an unforgettable experience that left a lasting impression on me.
