Dennis E. Stark has been named executive vice president of East Greenwich-based Independence Bank‘s Board of Directors. He will continue his work as a director, act as chairman of the asset/liability committee, a member of the compliance and credit committees, and also serve as corporate secretary. Stark is a member of the audit committee of the Rhode Island School of Design. He also serves on the board of directors, executive committee, and finance committee of the RI Philharmonic and Music School. Stark is chairman of the finance committees of Preserve RI and the Preservation Society of Pawtucket. He and his partner live in Pawtucket.
