WARREN – On Friday, Sept. 7, The Collaborative is hosting an artist opening featuring works by Kristin Divona and David Everett.

Divona is a visual information specialist for NASA’s Chandra X-Ray Observatory and in her free time illustrates paintings using gouache to capture light, small moments and hidden figures.

Everett, who draws inspiration from Canadian painters Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven, focuses on nature – particularly New England landscapes – in his paintings.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will wrap at 10 p.m. Guests will also be entertained by the sounds of local band Barn Burning and singer Jodie Treloar.
