
PROVIDENCE – Fiscal 2018 year-to-date cash collections through November were $1.5 billion, an increase of 6.1 percent, or $88.9 million, from a $1.4 billion collection one year prior, according to the R.I. Department of Revenue Wednesday.

- Fiscal year-to-date personal income tax collections were $518.4 million through November, a 3.4 percent increase from $501.2 million the year before.
- Fiscal year-to-date sales and use tax collections also increased year over year through November to $458 million, 4 percent higher than the $440.4 million a year prior.
- Fiscal year-to-date departmental receipts through November increased 0.3 percent year over year to $225.3 million, an increase of $583,935.
- Lottery transfer collection also increased for the fiscal year to date through November from $121.2 million to $123.8 million, a 2.2 percent increase.
- All other revenue for the state not defined above increased 31.3 percent year over year fiscal year to date to $213.3 million, a $50.9 million upswing that includes a 533.2 percent increase in estate and transfer tax collections, which increased $68 million year over year to $80.8 million.
