Duffy and Shanley PR team wins nine awards

PROVIDENCE – The public relations team at Duffy and Shanley won nine awards at The Publicity Club of New England’s 47th annual Bell Ringer Awards on June 11, including a Gold Bell and Platinum Super Bell finalist designation for the Agency’s “Yes on 5 RI” public affairs campaign, according to a press release.
The Bell Ringer Awards recognize professionals from a variety of top-tier agencies, companies and organizations in New England for excellence in communications and public relations work in every field and industry across all mediums. This year the area’s leading industry competition received more than 400 entries for consideration.
Duffy and Shanley was named Gold Bell and Platinum Super Bell finalist for the agency’s public affairs campaign for the “Yes on 5 RI – Arts + Preservation = Jobs” campaign in the Nov. 2014 R.I. election. The agency was also honored with a Silver Bell for the media event that launched that campaign.
The agency was awarded a Gold Bell for its direct mail campaign to raise awareness of the launch of Taste of Nature snack bars in the U.S., as well as a Bronze Bell for a USA Today photo placement for the brand.
Duffy and Shanley received Silver Bells for its series of positive news coverage on AT&T’s “It’s Our Boston” Boston Marathon campaign, including a Boston Globe story featuring AT&T efforts to support One Fund Boston and the running community.
The agency was honored with a Silver Bell in the photo placement category for an ABCNews.com photo of a PANDORA Jewelry Mother’s Day event with celebrity mom Jenny McCarthy.
They also received a Bronze Bell for a Foster Grant media and blogger event celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary and a Silver Bell for local television coverage of AT&T’s network enhancements at the Super Bowl.
