East Providence home sells for $1.1M

EAST PROVIDENCE – A home overlooking a reservoir in the Rumford area of East Providence has been sold for $1.1 million, the highest price recorded to date for a single-family house in the city, according to Residential Properties Ltd., which represented both seller and buyer.

The custom house, built in 2001, overlooks the James V. Turner Reservoir. It has an expansive kitchen, including a butler pantry, and a back deck off a master-bedroom suite.

The closing was recorded on Oct. 27.
