PROVIDENCE – Pulmonologist Dr. Rabih El-Bizri has joined the medical team at Elmhurst Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
El-Bizri is a board-certified physician with nearly 20 years of experience in pulmonology, critical care and internal medicine. He is affiliated with Roger Williams Medical Center and had previous appointments at Rhode Island Hospital and the Miriam Hospital in Providence, and Elliot Hospital and Concord Hospital, both in New Hampshire.
El-Bizri received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Lebanese University in Beirut and went on to receive post-graduate training at Staten Island University Hospital and Brown University.
“Dr. El-Bizri’s experience as a pulmonologist is greatly beneficial to the rehabilitation patients we care for at Elmhurst,” said Garrett Sullivan, administrator at Elmhurst Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. “Our goal as always is to be able to provide pulmonary patients with the tools they need to successfully transition home and achieve the most active life possible.”
Elmhurst, a member of Marquis Health Services, provides Providence and surrounding communities with sub-acute short-term and comprehensive long-term care.
