
WARWICK – The Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, a nonprofit that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, is seeking new members for its board of directors.
The center, established in the late 1970s, offers individual and group counseling services, court advocacy, law enforcement advocacy, and specialized services for elders who are victims.

The Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center serves Coventry, East Greenwich, Warwick, West Greenwich, West Warwick, North Providence, Johnston, Cranston, Scituate and Foster.
The agency said the board of directors meets the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings last one hour at the agency’s administrative offices in Warwick.
Board members provide financial and management governance working with Executive Director Judith Earle. Active participation in setting and realizing goals is expected.
