MIDDLETOWN – Embrace Home Loans Inc. has been named one of 2019’s “Best Mortgage Companies to Work For” by National Mortgage News and Best Companies Group.

Embrace ranked No. 23 on the list. Companywide, Embrace employs 666 people, according to the list. The only other company based in New England to make the list was Radius Financial Group, based in Norwell, Mass., with 118 employees. Radius ranked No. 11 on the list.

Companies from around the nation entered the two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employees’ experiences on the job. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
Best Companies Group managed the registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the rankings. National Mortgage News presented the awards and revealed the winners in a special report published in January.
Embrace was founded in 1983. Today, it is licensed to operate in 46 states and the District of Columbia.
