Food Bank appoints new members to its board of directors

The newest elected members to the board of directors for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank are: Gerry Fernandez, Amanda Frye Leinhos, Susan Santos, Dale Venturini and William Walter.
Gerry Fernandez is president and founder of the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance, a think tank that develops solutions for diversity and inclusion in the food service industry. Amanda Frye Leinhos is the executive director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, an after-school and teen center program in Newport. Susan L. Santos has served as the assistant executive director for the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island for the past ten years, overseeing all programs. Dale Venturini is president and CEO of the Rhode Island Hospitality & Tourism Association, which improves educational and training programs in the state’s hospitality industry. William Walter is the president and CEO of Capital City Community Centers, which provides early childhood learning and after-school programs.
