Chris Apple | Chick-fil-A
The Pitch: Hot, fresh food to be delivered to customers, as well as strong customer service Monday through Saturday – closed Sundays.
Years in business: Opened March 22.
Employees: 102
Cost to obtain franchise: $10,000 franchise fee.
Before opening franchise: Apple worked for Chick-fil-A for 12 years as a team member, rising to the ranks of general manager of two different Chick-fil-A restaurants. Apple then joined the company’s leadership-development program at its home office in Atlanta.
Reason for opening: Apple says the Greater Attleboro market was pushing for a Chick-fil-A to open close to home, plus he wanted to open the establishment in a new market.
‘We are in the “people business!” I plan to sell the best food in this area but I plan to treat every guest with honor, dignity and respect. People want to feel safe and valued, and this is the environment we strive to create here at Chick-fil-A Attleboro.’
‘In my short time being a franchise owner, the most rewarding part has been the people I have had the opportunity to meet through interactions in interviews, setting up vendors and during community outreach.’
‘We will be partnering with St. John Paul II SVDP for our ‘Shared Table Program,’ where we donate the food that would be wasted and thrown away. They will be repurposing this food to feed those in need in our community.’
‘We look forward to adding partnerships and catering relationships in the future, as we establish the restaurant as the team is being trained to take care of our guests inside the restaurant and drive-thru.’
