PROVIDENCE – Dr. Christine Gadbois, CEO of CareLink Inc., a nonprofit health care network that serves older adults across the state, is now a member of Delta Dental of Rhode Island’s board of directors.
Delta Dental made the announcement on May 19.
Gadbois said CareLink has worked with Delta Dental to provide dental care for its members in need of complex or critical treatments.
“I look forward to serving on the board of directors and contributing to the organization’s efforts to meet its mission of improving access to oral health care for all Rhode Islanders,” Gadbois said.
She brings to the role deep experience with interagency and government collaborations focused on integrating and improving care for vulnerable patients.
“Chris is a highly respected health care leader and public health professional and will be a great addition to our organization,” said Joseph R. Perroni, CEO and president of Delta Dental Rhode Island. “We look forward to the contributions she will make at Delta Dental.”
Gadbois, who is the current president of the Rhode Island Public Health Association, sits on numerous other boards, including the RI Elder Mental Health and Addiction Coalition, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the executive board for the R.I. Alzheimer’s State Plan.
