Gas station sells for $1.3M

WESTPORT – Supreme Gas started operating last month a station on the corner of Sanford Road and Route 6 after purchasing the facility at a foreclosure auction for $1.3 million.
Real estate agent George Brenner, of Brenner Realtors, said the deal closed in December, but the new owner opened a revamped station just last month.
The station includes self-service gasoline pumps, a full-service convenience store along with a Honey Dew Donuts. Supreme Gas adds the Westport station to its exiting two locations in Fall River.
Brenner said the sale price was not unusual for a gas station in a busy location. He is presently listing a gas station in Fall River for $3.6 million and one in Somerset for more than $3 million.
“It’s the same old story: location, location, location,” he said.
