PROVIDENCE – DiPrete Engineering has promoted Brian Giroux, a senior project engineer, to the position of director of engineering and design.
Giroux joined the company as a civil engineer in 2006, after working for several years as a geotechnical engineer at Professional Service Industries and as a civil engineer at Tilton & Associates Inc.

As director, he will work with engineers and designers and find the most-efficient engineering and computer-assisted design solutions to various challenges. He previously was responsible for engineering design, regulatory permitting and construction administration. He has experience in retail, institutional and industrial projects.
His current projects include Reynolds Farm in North Kingstown, the Citizens Bank corporate campus in Johnston and the New England Institute of Technology campus in East Greenwich.
He is a graduate of Roger Williams University.
