Not sure where to vote? Just ask Google Maps.
Just in time for next week’s election, the Mountain View, Calif.-based Internet giant has partnered with the League of Women Voters and local election officials to create an easy-to-use online tool that can assist voters across the country, including Rhode Islanders, with finding their local polling place.
All a voter needs to do is type in his or her home address and click “Search.” A map pops up pinpointing “Your Voting Location,” along with the polling place’s hours, information about registration and absentee ballots, and the voter hotline number.
Not sure for whom to vote? The answer’s not as straightforward, but Google can offer some help with figuring that out, too.
