PROVIDENCE – A 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting today will mark the official opening of 333 Atwells Avenue, a 24-condominium mixed-use development on Federal Hill.
Most units in the development are priced between $350,000 and $450,000, Signature Properties President Doug Jeffrey told Providence Business News yesterday, although one is being offered at a special price of $333,000.

The condos are in an established Providence neighborhood, which is a draw for potential buyers, he noted. “Prior to the end of construction, we had five units pre-sold,” Jeffrey said, “and we’ve had a good amount of activity – I’d say predominantly locals, but we do have some people who are relocating and some empty nesters.”
In April, a 16,000-square-foot Walgreens opened on the ground floor of the mixed-use development. (READ MORE) A 2,700-square-foot commercial space is still available, Jeffrey said.
