PROVIDENCE – Grow Smart Rhode Island has opened nominations for its annual Smart Growth Awards, and is seeking nominations of leaders, projects and policies or plans that deserve recognition.
According to a call for nominations, the organization recognizes individuals who are passionate, creative and resourceful, who are “leading the charge to shape a stronger, more vibrant and resilient” state.

Awards will be announced at an evening reception on April 30. Entries are accepted online. The deadline is Feb. 22. Selections will be made by March 8.
