GTECH creates ‘igaming’ division

PROVIDENCE – GTECH has combined its existing interactive gaming and betting products, as well as newly acquired software companies for both consumer-facing and back-office electronic gaming and created a new division, entitled G2, the company announced at the European Lotteries Congress today in Istanbul, Turkey.
“Igaming and sports betting are areas where we see tremendous growth for lotteries around the world,” said G2 President Atul Bali.
“We are always investing in the future of our lottery customers,” said GTECH President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel.
Brands included in the new division include: Boss Media, a software suite that includes online poker, bingo, casino and instant games as well as back-office products that manage customer relations, payment and affiliate relationships; Finsoft, a betting transaction and risk management provider; St. Minver, an online gaming product that currently manages one of the largest bingo networks in the world; and Dynamite Idea, a Europe-based developer of online betting games.
